Open Research Manager

This role is part of a team supporting excellent research and innovation practices at Warwick University. The Open Research Manager develops and embeds reproducible, transparent, and accountable, open research practices that can transform the way research evidence is used in society. The role holder champions and inspires a rapid move toward open research and helps foster a research culture that recognises and incentivises responsible research practices.

The role holder leads the successful delivery of our open access service, working daily with academic staff, researchers, professional services, and specialist external bodies. They build engagement with the service and ensure the research community has access to and makes use of specialist training, advice and guidance on research dissemination and assessment.

The Open Research Manager seeks to ensure that all researchers understand open research principles and have the confidence and know-how to embed these practices into their work.
