Metadata Librarian

The position focuses on the creation, maintenance, and enrichment of MARC and non-MARC metadata representing library digital, physical, linked open data sources, and virtual collections. In cooperation with other library staff, the position provides expertise in the development, implementation and assessment of metadata policies and procedures to the library while monitoring external developments, standards development and evolving needs in these areas. The position contributes to the efficient workflows to promote interoperability across systems.
