Collections Engagement and Outreach Officer

To work in partnership with colleagues across academic departments and professional services, including the Warwick Institute for Engagement to develop, implement and review outreach activities for the Library and the Modern Records Centre (MRC) with audiences within the University of Warwick and beyond.

To develop and implement strategies to raise the profile of the breadth and depth of the MRC’s archive collections to increase engagement with a wide range of archive materials to support the teaching and research activity of the University.

To work with Research and Academic Support Librarians to develop and implement approaches which will use MRC collections to underpin and support the University’s education and research strategies, including the inclusive education strategy.

To increase engagement with the Library and Archives’ collections through curation of exhibitions and events, both physical and virtual. Working in partnership to co-create with students where appropriate.
