Library Collections Officer
The Library Collections Officer is responsible for the efficient management of the Research Reserve site and library collections at a university. The officer will ensure that research materials and library collections are accessible and available to all stakeholders. This includes supervising print collections management, overseeing compliance, and best practice in the use of library systems, and ensuring discoverability and accessibility of materials. The officer will also supervise volunteers and casual workers involved in collection management projects. A degree in library or information studies is desirable for this role, and the ability to communicate in Welsh is also desirable. The role will be based on campus and at the Research Reserve facility, with the option for some remote work. The officer will also play a key role in delivering Student Life goals and objectives, and shaping service delivery and strategic priorities across Library Collections.
