Library Operations and Space Manager

The Library Operations and Space Manager will lead the development and optimisation of Library and Cultural Services spaces to support evolving student and teaching needs. They will oversee the operational delivery of library services, maintain safe and inclusive environments, and provide dynamic leadership for the Library Experience team. The role involves implementing strategic improvements, managing a large team, and delivering projects and improvements that support service delivery. The manager will also oversee the operation of physical library systems and technologies, develop operational policies, and lead on incident and business continuity management for library services. They will also play a key role in planning, developing, and optimising library spaces. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, as well as knowledge of customer service delivery, service development, and health & safety, accessibility, and data protection requirements.
