Senior Library Assistant (Design)

Senior Library Assistant (Design) in archives and special collections team. Responsible for providing comprehensive support in delivering a range of exhibition and engagement activities. They will bring a detailed understanding of graphic design and web design to support the scheduling, management, and design of exhibition and event programmes and the creation of online resources. Additionally, the role involves providing design solutions for publicity and administration, mentoring and coaching indirect reports, and undertaking other library duties as assigned. The job also requires occasional work outside normal working hours and may involve working at another campus location. The ideal candidate should have skills equivalent to the achievement of NVQ2, GCSE or City and Guilds, and experience working in archives, special collections, or a heritage environment.
