Health Sciences Librarian

Mercy University Hospital, in partnership with UCC Library, wishes to recruit an Assistant Librarian to head up the Hospital Library located in its Centre of Nurse Education. This standalone library provides top-quality services to hospital employees, clinical consultants and students on placement. The library provides access to dedicated facilitates for research and study, as well as access to print and electronic information resources. The Assistant Librarian provides library and information services, including instruction in library and information seeking skills for health sciences. With a strong focus on user needs, the Mercy Hospital Librarian will adopt innovative approaches to deliver a quality service to the health services sector.
