Digital Learning Services Officer
The Digital Learning Services Officer at University College Cork will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative technology-enhanced spaces and services within the library. The role involves adopting new technologies for innovative pedagogy and digitally-enabled research, integrating these into the university's teaching, learning, and research activities.
Key responsibilities include overseeing academic technology services, leading the library's vision for Open Education Resources, evaluating and implementing new instructional technologies, and contributing to strategic planning. The officer will also be responsible for creating partnerships, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and providing leadership to the Academic Technology Team.
Applicants should have a third-level qualification and at least three years' professional experience. Skills in project management, instruction delivery, and team leadership are essential. Experience in librarianship and information studies and designing user-centred services in an academic setting is desirable. The role offers a salary range of £50,000 to £59,999.
