In response to the pandemic, libraries have had to be agile and adaptable in order to meet the needs of their institutions and their users. As we emerge from lockdown, how will the demands placed on the library evolve and what are the implications of this for the workforce and workforce development? Many institutions are developing hybrid and / or dynamic working but are also looking at significant shifts in their teaching and learning and research practices, all of which have implications for the library workforce.

SCONUL members are invited to consider these issues as part of a discussion and interactive exchange of experience, chaired by Emma Walton, Director of Library Services and University Librarian, Loughborough University.

This event is part of the Libraries After Lockdown virtual collaboration and open to all staff at SCONUL member institutions.  For details on how to register e-mail sconul@sconul.ac.uk
