The Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) Committee inquiry into quality assessment in Higher Education (HE) looked at proposed changes to quality assessment in universities and the potential impact of introducing a Teaching Excellence Framework. The SCONUL response to BIS highlights the active and innovative role of libraries in quality teaching and assessment, and the importance of a diverse HE sector.
