SCONUL is commissioning research to investigate the expectations and experiences of new and recent entrants to the profession. The views of new entrants, line managers and those leading libraries will be explored by this study. The project is part of the work being undertaken by the Workforce Development Task and Finish Group which is considering the opportunities and challenges facing our members in workforce development.

We would like to encourage our consultants and academic researcher colleagues to consider and respond to the brief. The formal deadline for full responses is 12 noon on 12 June 2019.
