The Visible Library: Demonstrating our Value

There is an increased need for library directors to be able to define and articulate the value of the library to both internal and external stakeholders. The programme for this year’s SCONUL Winter Conference is a response to this need. It offers significant space for reflecting on the perspectives and priorities of stakeholders and crafting messages to address the challenges and opportunities that arise from those reflections. In addition, delegates will be inspired by the work both in and out of the library for using evidence to demonstrate value and impact. The conference is unique in that the outputs from the discussions that take place will form a basis for a SCONUL advocacy toolkit. Registration closes on 31 October 2014.
