Liaison Librarian

The Liaison Librarian will be responsible for managing and maintaining the library collections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role involves liaising with colleagues and course teams to review and select resources, develop information skills through online tools, workshops and tutorials, and promote library resources and services. The librarian will also be responsible for developing and promoting online information to aid independent learning and supporting course teams in planning resources. The role requires participation in meetings and projects contributing to the development of services and resources. The liaison librarian will report regularly to the Library Manager on service operations and issues, and take responsibility for health and safety and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or postgraduate qualification in library information management or equivalent experience are essential for this role.
