Inter-Library Loans Co-Ordinator

The Inter-library Loans (ILL) Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering the inter-library loans and document delivery service and resource sharing collaboration between the University and relevant partners in the higher education sector. Main duties include managing the ILL budget, maintaining and analysing usage data, ensuring legal compliance with copyright legislation, and overseeing the training and performance of Library Assistants.

The candidate should have a good general standard of education, knowledge of trends and technology in the ILL field, experience in configuring and undertaking administrative workflows on library-related systems, and effective line management skills. A proactive and positive attitude to service delivery and continuous service improvement is also essential. Knowledge of current developments in publishing and experience of coordinating projects are desirable.
