Summary

The Reading Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing the provision of print and electronic information resources for the University. Their tasks include managing the University's investments in learning resources, negotiating complex licenses, and ensuring compliance with copyright legislation. They also develop and manage resource lists, acquisitions, and digital services, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance these services. The role involves budget management, vendor relationships, project coordination, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate should have a degree or equivalent experience in librarianship or information science, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in managing content acquisition and delivery services. They should be knowledgeable about the print and online publishing landscape, copyright legislation, and have a track record of delivering complex projects. Strong communication and time-management skills are also essential. Knowledge of budgets and digital preservation would be advantageous.
