This includes helping students develop their information literacy, digital literacy, time management, presentation skills, and study techniques. The tutor will deliver tailored teaching to suit specific courses and levels, conduct small group workshops, and offer one-to-one sessions. They should also display an ability to prioritise tasks, maintain accurate student records, and promote student success and continuous improvement in academic support services. A relevant qualification or training in coaching, teaching, librarianship, or information science, and familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms for student support are desirable.
