The Scholarly Communications Librarian at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) plays a crucial role in supporting the learning, teaching, and research requirements of the university. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Library Services, this professional, supervisory role assists in the planning of future needs and developments within Library Services. Key responsibilities include coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team, identifying training needs, and aiding in project planning and implementation. The role also encompasses providing advice and training to researchers, staff, and students on scholarly communications issues, promoting open access publishing, and overseeing the operation of the TU Dublin Repository. The position may require evening and Saturday work during term time.
