Collections Development Assistant
Collections Development Assistant: The role requires assisting in providing access to library stock, facilities, and equipment, processing used stock, newly acquired and requested items, and maintaining stock quality. Other responsibilities include user support, responding to inquiries, and maintaining relevant knowledge of equipment and software.
Applicants should have a skill level equivalent to achievement of NVQ2, GCSE or City and Guilds, with relevant work experience. Good communication, planning, and organizing skills are essential. Experience in a service role and familiarity with digital systems is a plus. The job requires occasional manual handling within health and safety guidelines. The role may require occasional work outside of normal hours or at a different campus location.
