Digital Scholarship Administrator
Digital Scholarship Administrator: This role involves delivering a range of library services that support digital innovation across all faculties and subjects. The role requires the ability to scan or digitally reproduce library content, manage information using library and external IT systems, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to the development of processes. It also involves participating in special projects and engaging in training and development opportunities.
The preferred candidate should possess an NVQ2, GCSE or City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, along with relevant work experience. They should also possess knowledge of work systems, equipment processes, and standard IT packages, and be able to produce clear, accurate, and concise written documentation.
The role might require occasional work outside normal working hours and the ability to work at another campus location. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to solve a range of problems by responding to varying circumstances, contribute to team efficiency, adapt well to change and service improvements, and effectively communicate and influence others.
