Open Research and Publication Practice Principal Library Assistant
Open Research and Publication Practice Principal Library Assistant is responsible for providing support in open research and publication practice, including the administration of Article Processing Charge funds. Key duties include financial administration, providing advice and guidance on library research processes, conducting research and data analysis, reviewing procedures, event organization, assisting with special projects, and managing direct reports.
This role requires knowledge of relevant University systems and procedures, ability to analyze and interpret complex data, effective use of standard office computer systems, and expertise in relevant library systems. Candidates should possess excellent planning, problem-solving, management, teamwork, and communication skills. Some level of flexibility in working hours and location may be required. The ideal candidate will have a skill level equivalent to the achievement of HNC, A-Level, NVQ3 coupled with relevant work experience and job-related training. Financial administration or budget monitoring experience is also desirable.
