Discovery Manager
Discovery Manager: This role involves managing the development and implementation of cataloguing, classification, and associated metadata creation to optimize the discovery of print and e-resources in the library's catalogue. The Discovery Manager will be responsible for maintaining high-quality cataloguing processes, improving workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. They will also provide expert advice and guidance to the Library Senior Leadership Team, participate in expert networks, and may be required to work outside of normal working hours or at different campus locations. Candidates must have an accredited degree or professional qualification, experience in relevant work activities, and be prepared to develop knowledge to support a specialist area of work. Excellent IT skills and proficiency in MS Office, web authoring, and social media tools are also essential.
