Digital Library Developer

The Technological University Dublin is looking for a Digital Library Developer to join their Digital Services team within Library Services. The role involves providing a seamless digital library infrastructure and service to all TU Dublin users and contributing to the creation of a Digital Campus. The Digital Library Developer will maintain and develop information management systems and explore new technologies to enhance library systems and online service provision. They will also assist in the planning for future needs and developments within the Library Service and support the learning, teaching, and research requirements of the University. The role may require working evenings or Saturdays during term-time, and the candidate may be required to deputise for the Assistant Head of Library Services: Digital Services. The ideal candidate should have a professional Computer Science perspective, capacity for coding, and expertise in database structures and development methodologies.
