Summary

Learning Technologist Practitioner: The role involves providing comprehensive support in the areas of learning technologies, digital accessibility, and innovation applied to teaching and digital literacy development. Key responsibilities include advising on design and technology use, providing training and guidance, reviewing and improving procedures, and undertaking research and detailed analysis of learning data. The role also involves networking, assisting with special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Candidates should have a skill level equivalent to HNC, A-Level, NVQ3 with work experience in relevant roles. They should have a comprehensive understanding of the University's systems and procedures, and be proficient in office computer systems. They should also have knowledge of digital systems and approaches to find, evaluate, create, collaborate, and communicate. Desirable qualifications include a relevant degree, financial administration/budget monitoring experience, and experience using storyline systems such as Articulate, H5P and WordPress.

The role requires planning, problem-solving, management, teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to training and development. There may be occasional requirements to work outside normal hours and at different campus locations. This is an office-based job with routine office hazards.
