Collections Acquisitions Manager
Collections Acquisitions Manager: manages the acquisition and licensing of library-managed physical and digital content and is responsible for managing a team of library assistants. Key responsibilities include managing the library content budget, liaising with publishers and suppliers, improving workflows, and contributing expert knowledge on content management processes. The role also includes staff management and development, resolving complex issues in collection acquisition, and supporting the development of library policy and strategy. Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification in information science, library or archive studies, or a related field, and experience in planning and progressing work activities within broad professional guidelines and/or broad organisational policy.
