Library Technologies Manager
Library Technologies Manager manages library systems and ensures they support education and research optimally. The individual will play a key role in the development and implementation of applications, systems, and services to meet the evolving needs of Library Services and the University. They will manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include operational management of the Library Services Platform, supporting the deployment of new systems, managing access and identity, analyzing operational issues, monitoring system performance, planning upgrades, identifying staff development needs, and contributing to the strategic development of Library Services. The job may require working outside normal hours and at various campus locations. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience, IT skills, project management experience, and knowledge of various technologies like Java, xml, SQL, and MySQL. They should be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and able to manage small teams.
