Head of Open Research & Publication Practice: This role involves creating and shaping innovative open research and publication services, leading long-term institution-wide cultural change, and managing all components of open research and publication services including curation and storage of institutional assets. Key responsibilities include providing expert advice to senior university staff, leading on policy creation, managing direct reports, and ensuring that research outputs are effectively captured, recorded, stored, and shared. Applicants should have a Library Information Management Degree or equivalent qualifications or experience, proven project and/or people management skills, and the ability to plan and manage major new projects or significant new activities.
