Summary

Head of Digital Scholarship & Innovation: This role involves leading and managing the development of innovative Library services, working in partnership with researchers, educators, and students to improve the quality of digital research and education across all faculties and subjects. The role requires developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Library Digital Scholarship Service, including leading web-based innovations and ensuring accessibility of all digital platforms. The role involves managing direct reports, providing expert advice to senior University staff, leading on research methodology, leading and collaborating on funding applications, and building partnerships with academic and student communities.

Key requirements for this role include a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualifications or experience, proven project management and people management skills, and the ability to apply experience and awareness within the field of digital scholarship. The role is office-based and may require working outside of normal working hours and at various campus locations.
