Head of Research Data & Intellectual Property: This senior management role involves leading the delivery of research data management services, intellectual property management, and driving cultural change across the institution. Key accountabilities include providing expert advice to faculties, managing the Research Data Service, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy frameworks, and developing research data management training. The role also entails managing projects, including externally funded ones, and acting as the primary point of strategic engagement for a faculty. Candidates should have a Library Information Management Degree or equivalent qualifications/experience, proven project and/or people management skills, and membership of CILIP or other relevant professional body. They should also possess strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills. The role may require working outside of normal working hours and at various campus locations.
