Assistant Librarian academic Engagement

The University of Brighton is seeking an Assistant Librarian Academic Engagement to assist the Academic Engagement Librarian. The role involves providing library services and developing training for students and academic staff, managing information resources, and developing and maintaining web-based content. The candidate will also be involved in staff development programs, supporting compliance with legal requirements, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires excellent IT skills, ability to communicate complex information, and a flexible approach to work. The candidate must have a professional qualification in library or information science and experience in a library environment. This is a part-time job share arrangement and requires the ability to work evenings and weekends and travel to other university sites when required.
