Library Liaison Manager
The Library Liaison Manager is a senior role in the Library and Digital Education Directorate, managing the provision of library resources and support to students. The manager is responsible for collaborating with academic staff to design and deliver information literacy training and ensure access to appropriate materials to aid student progression. The role also includes leading the Liaison Librarians team, managing the learning materials budget, and shaping the library collections in digital and print formats. The manager will also review and evaluate academic liaison developments and represent the service within the university and externally. Essential qualifications include a professional degree in Librarianship or Information Science, and extensive experience in leading library academic support services.
