Open Research Manager
This role involves leading advocacy, training, and development of the UWL Repository and open access journals. The candidate will design strategies to promote open access practices, ensure UWL's compliance to statutory and regulatory frameworks, and manage the Scholarly Communication Assistant.
The ideal candidate should have a first degree or equivalent experience, and a professional qualification in information/library studies, or equivalent experience. They should also have experience with repository systems, knowledge of metadata standards, and the research lifecycle and open access landscape. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and IT skills, and be committed to reflective practice. The role does not require a DBS check.
