The theme of the Summer Conference 2019 was “Delivering through partnerships”. Delegates had the opportunity to reflect on global developments on open access and restraining the cost of content, and the role that libraries are playing in driving change internationally. They also explored how libraries are delivering on their missions to enhance the student experience and deliver research excellence through partnerships within and beyond the institution as traditional barriers between the library and institution break down. They looked at the implications of these changes for the development of the library workforce.
